Local Highway Improvement works are due to take place on Main Street, Westley Waterless and Brinkley Road between the 17/7/23 and 19/7/23. These will include the installation of village gates and a 40mph buffer zone. The works will be undertaken within core working hours of 08:00 – 16:30 and under a road closure. The diversion route for the road closure will be as follows:
High Street, Brinkley – Six Mile Bottom Road – Brinkley Road, Six Mile Bottom – A1304 – Station Road, Dullingham – B1061 and vice versa.

Access for residents will be maintained during the works; if you live inside the works area, please approach the traffic management and explain where you live, they will allow you through.
We make every effort to deliver the programme to the proposed dates and times. However, aspects of these works are weather dependant, or can be adversely affected by other similar events out of our control that may require the need to reschedule at short notice. We and our contractors shall endeavour to anticipate and overcome such challenges as they arise – as usual. If a significant change occurs, we will provide you an update to this information.
